To protect the water in our farm, we planted more than 300 deciduous trees that will help to maintain the life and water in the soil. We work constantly to improve the soil and forest around us. Our animals are a great help to us, improving and keeping our soil fertile, so they are very important to us, they are all free-range and lead very happy lives.<\/p>\n

Bees are under threat, with over half of bee species have declined in the past years and more than 90% of wildflower meadows have disappeared since the middle of XX century. On our farm we have happy bees that produce our delicious organic honey, we work all year round for them promoting biodiversity, fields with wildflowers and original trees such as the \u201cCarvalho-negral Quercus pyrenaica<\/em>\u201d, a protected tree in the natural Park of S\u00e3o Mamede.<\/p>\n
