“It’s not just what you do; it’s how you do it. That is why our farm since 2003 is the perfect example of how agriculture, biodiversity and sustainability can work together.”
We are a proud small Portuguese family business; we have an eco-small production unit, an office space and will soon open a store (in 2023) in the beautiful countryside of Marvão.

Our organic state is on the Serra do Sapoio, on the hillside of the Vila de Marvão at an altitude of 600 m in the protected area of the São Mamede Natural Park. Our 20 acres farm is surrounded by organic centenary and millennial olive trees, beautiful and natural fields, meadows and wildflowers and it is from this beautiful scenario that we source inspiration to develop our products.

Organic Farming

What does organic mean to us?

It is our creed, dictating the way we work, elaborate our products and protect the environment. We take this commitment very seriously for we believe that health and well-being must always come first.

What differentiates organic farming from conventional farming?

The former nourishes and treats the soil and the latter treat the plants. The soil is a system intrinsically related to everything around it. This relationship is altered through the use of chemicals. It is our firm belief that from a soil that is healthy and well cared for you will obtain equally healthy products.

“Organic farming methods often involve further work but have a lower impact on the environment.”
